Venice Biennial 2011 AR Intervention by Cyberartist Group manifest.AR

Another intervention by manifest.AR, and this time they're aiming big.

The international cyberartist group manifest.AR wishes to inform the general public, the President and the Curator of the 54th edition of the Venice Biennial that we are extending the Giardini with an extra pavilion. We will construct this new pavilion using Augmented Reality (AR) architecture and will show a selection of AR artworks from renowned artists working in this contemporary medium and new spatial realm.

Glyph Graves’ Liquidity installation

Glyph participated in ACVA Lab earlier this year. He's been busy with new work, including an installation at IBM's Liquidity Exhibition in SL. Cells – a collaboration with fellow Lab participant Julian Stadon –converts movement data from a real life colony of Protozoa located at Curtain University's Studio of Electronic Art, into an up close and personal exploration of life.

Aroha Groves’ Connections2 short-listed for national award

ACVA is pleased to announce the public opening of Connections2 by Aroha Groves. Her installation takes up the whole of our SIM and was shortlisted for the 27th Telstra National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Art Award, receiving a highly commended mark from the judges.
